The best version is playing this every computer class in school when you're 8 years old in the 1980s.
If you can't do that then you're never going to have "the real experience". This game is hugely influential and a deserving of the most dignified pedestal in any gaming history museum but no smartphone owning kid in the modern era is going to be able to sit down and really enjoy it or appreciate what it innovated or how it affected people.
