Weed on the other hand, has caused me to have 4-5 hospitalizaton tier (If my doctor or cops found out about what I was like during these times, I would have been forced to be in the ward. I was raving paranoid bum jumping through people's backyeards hiding in trash cans and on roofs thinking feds were following me. I thought aliens were landing and about to do something to me. I thought my family wanted to enslave me and make me their tool and were controlling me somehow and that's why i was so bad at everything in life (Didnt realize it's just my schizo) and i was making adds on craigslist to sell my stuff so i could get on a train and never see my fucked family agian. a fellow schizo gave me a bunch of seroquel during this, and i came to my senses and he told me to see a doctor. thats how i found out i had it.

hallucinogens also make me trip insanely hard. people say mushrooms don't sent you into a different dimension but for me, they change everything. i am walking in a different world whne i take them. like the scenery becomes completely different like from a videogame or movie.

The causes of schizophrenia are poorly understood.

Evidently, medications for schizophrenia work by suppressing dopamine receptor activity. Chronic doses of meth can lead to downregulation of dopamine receptors to compensate for the high levels and persistence of dopamine in the synapse. If high dopaminergic activity actually causes psychotic episodes, you may have increased your threshold by reducing the number of receptors. Long term high dose use can still lead to amphetamine psychosis but that's probably through a different mechanism (neurotoxicity or something like that).

Another thing to note. From the 'Pedia

"The extent of tolerance and the rate at which it develops vary widely between individuals, and even within one person. It is highly dependent on dosage, duration of use, and frequency of administration."

I have no idea why.
I'm diagnosed schizo as well, and meth was always my drug of choice. It never made me paranoid, in fact it calmed my paranoia. Likewise it slowed auditory hallucinations and other fun delusions. Very nice stuff.

I never got horny on it though unless I drank a shitload of alcohol at the same time. Mostly meth shriveled my junk and made it impossible to get hard.

but if it works for you, carry on. It'll kill you someday though.
