Is there anyone else going to school who hates it? Science is my favorite out of all, but I still hate going.

Im only going to get a 50k/year lab job so I can live comfortably as a single man. Never want a wife.

I wanted to join the military but I'm schizoaffective (Schizo and bipolar mixed) so im disqualified.

I hated early school years, didn't mind year 10-12
Now I'm at uni and I quite like it.

I'm in the same boat except I don't have flaws that keep me from following my dreams.

Cool blog, bro.

You sound like me. But I'm still in that period.
Thinking of joining the army when I graduate tho.

That's a king's ransom for the single, fresh college graduate. Don't get me started on 50k.

Britfag here,
Same boat man, doing maths, further maths, physics and German for a-level, want to be a Pilot! I hate this place.
It's full of stupid people/niggers.

Pretty much describes my life. Two years to go before graduation, spend about 5-10 years testing software & accumulating excess money, then moving to part-time work of some sort & living cheaply off some sustainable house somewhere.

Smells like a whole lot of underaged kiddies in here.

>> No.4440959

You know, if you only aim for 50k, then thats all you are going to get. Maybe aim a bit higher?

As for school, yes it sucks, but university, if you get in, is a whole fuckload better then school.

>> No.4440978

OP what will you do when you're 85 years old and need a ride to the hospital and there's no 55 year old kid to drive you?

I hated 3-11 because I wasn't retarded thus was way ahead of everyone so I aced a GED to get the fuck out of there.

Started working and hated it, went back to school and loved it, started working again and hated it.

School is the only place I feel fully alive.

Is it a flaw to not to try and scrape out ~5 more years of low-quality life.

>> No.4441022

I got my bachelors of science and now I'm in dentistry school and then when I'm done with that I'm going into oral and maxillofacial surgery. I'll be enjoying a 250k+ salary a year after I pay back my 100k loan for fucking 7 years of school and 6 years of residency so I can get a medical degree as well. That's life OP. I'll be well into my 30's and working as much as a I can in dentistry through residency so I can have somewhat of a life.

>> No.4441037

This thread depresses me because it makes me realize that I lost all the passion I had for science when I was younger.

When I was 18 the only thing I wanted out of my life was to do science, I was academically successful, had a very panglossian outlook on life and I originally planned on enrolling for a physics degree.

Life happened and I got screwed over a lot since then.

Now I'm studying ChemE- rarely do thinking for other people unless I get paid to...also planning on joining the military.

C'est la vie

I see you're aspiring to be part of the reason the health care system is falling apart. Always good to have aspirations.
