What are some studying tips you guys have, in this case for biology? Mostly how to remember everything.

>get a voice recorder
And listen to yourself repeating what you need to learn over and over again

>group study
Unless your school has cutthroat competition in life sciences, qualitative studies like this (as opposed to quantitative things like math/cs/physical science) can be helpful do over and discuss with other people

>extra research
As much as skimming through a wikipedia article about an item/topic/subject you have to healn will help you remember it better

>smell
Psychology trick. Get a new cologne and put it on strong when you study. Put on the same cologne when you take the test- the smell will jog your memory

Drop the course
If it's your major, drop your life.

You're doing it wrong it's all concepts understand the concepts not remember everything about them.

No you just need to understand the concepts and you can derive the information it's asking from there. For example say you're asked a question about how many carbon atoms the molecule will have at a certain stage in the krebs cycle It's much easier to just understand the krebs cycle than it is to try and remember the molecules of each step.

They have graph theory. That seems to be pretty big right now.

Whenever I need to remember things just for the sake of remembering, I write the term(s) or definition(s) over and over on a piece of paper until I can remember it without looking on the paper.

Flash Cards are useful. Also, you should consider a different major if your intention is just to memorize your way through everything. Unless, of course, you're just shooting for an MD. In which case, go fuck yourself because I'm not paying an arm and a leg for a doctor who has the same skillset as a teenager using google.
