this would work....you are basically just converting hamster food into electrical energy. Not sure how much energy you would get though.... maybe if you have a giant array of hamster wheels, all with hamster living boxes attached to each individual one...

car would stick to the ground. if they were both positive or both negative, THEN you would have a flying ferrari!

It is still trolling, because it's equating the helicopter with things like the pulley-rocket, the giant elevated suction-straw pool, and the infinite light-in-a-box.

nah it IS infinite energy... it just requires infinite time. a solar panel is also infinite energy by the same logic... you just need time.

Think of how much energy is stored in a hamster (not much).Think of how efficiently the hamster can convert that energy into kinetic energy needed to provide the rotation of the wheel (even less). And energy will be lost due to friction between the hamster feet and the wheel, and a lot of the energy is not even being used to spin the wheel because half of the hamster leg's rotation is it just travelling through the air.

It doesn't matter if infinite energy is given over an infinite time. If the energy output per second is too low it would be useless any way.

hmm...you have a point...perhaps some giant version of a hamster wheel can be built, that can contain a horse...that would make much more energy. hell, people race horses round in a giant circle for sport and gambling, and waste energy doing it. we would just be harnessing that energy, and people can still gamble etc if we hook the giant wheel up to a computer that calculates the power output of a horse. you just gamble on whichever horse you think can produce the most electricity in 10 minutes.
...we could do this with humans as well...they like going to the gym, so just hook up generators to the treadmills....actually this may already happen, the gym i go to, the cycling machines arn't plugged in, as soon as you cycle a little bit the screen flickers into life... i think its powered by the excercise you do. thats pretty cool.
oh, whoops im rambling. tl;dr etc, i wont mind.

i didn't say the energy was coming from nothing. that violates the laws of thermodynamics. first law i think "energy cannot be created or destroyed, only converted from one form to another"
so its hamster food into electrical energy, or solar energy into electrical energy...you cant get it from nothing...and in each case, it is infinite energy, with infinite time.
