Chemists and chemistry students of /sci/, am I doing this problem set correctly?
Note that this isn't a homework thread, as I've already calculated answers.

And here are the problems I have yet to do. I'll post answers when I get them.

Bumping

they're all correct

Second opinion?
Also, what is the E0 value of the hydrogen reference half-cell? I couldn't find that in my notes.

>> No.1807084

Bumping for a decent response

>> No.1807089

sorry, most of /sci/ isn't actually smart.

>> No.1807106

>>1807089
I find they just prefer to troll or talk about engineers being gay.
Anyway, I can't find anything related to the hydrogen reference half-cell online or in my text. I assume we're to use the half-cell with Pt, because the half-cell with just H equals 0.00V, which would render question 4 useless.

>> No.1807118

It seams correct. E0 of hydrogen cell is 0

>> No.1807119

>>1807089
Actually, this is not true. The majority of /sci/ just studies physics and mathematics because the majority of /sci/ are tools. They study around these two subjects because that's where the majority of the famous scientists study in.

>> No.1807138

>>1807118
If it's 0, then question 4 would simply be the answer with the greatest voltage? (Pt2+ + 2e- -> Pt)

>> No.1807143

>>1807119
>that's where the majority of the famous scientists study in

You mean the overrated household names like Hawking? There have some 'God of God tier' chemists that no one outside their field have heard of because their work doesnt relate to pop-sci like "hurr black holes" or "Durr space travel"

So fucking true, even on /sci/ it's true.

bitch please ive asked tons of not-highschool phyics and i get 0 answers. if the physics actually requires integration you're screwed here on sci. same with abything more than calc i/II

Order of operations on /sci/:

Scenario one:
Poster one: "I'm a physics PhD student, I know everything about physics"
Poster two: "Fine let's discuss something that isn't troll logic or high school physics, WITHOUT simply quoting/linking to wikipedia"
Poster one: "No, I have no time for idiotic discussions, I'm a PhD student after all"

Scenario two;
Poster one: "Math major, any job I want, 300k starting"
Poster two: "Surely if you are a math major you can do this simple integration by parts problem"
Poster one: "LOLNAW I don't do homework, go do your homework yourself, I'm doing important shit on /sci/"

its funny because i have this same homework sheet and will be giving it it mr murphy tomorrow haha

Better: him taking it seriously
But you'd better be in class tomorrow, I still haven't finished this assignment.

and im not gunna finish it, the labs due before this is

Wasn't the lab due Tuesday?
Forget that anyways, I won't be able to finish it either. Gotta study for that math test.
