Are ADHD meds basically a silver bullet? The effects on people without ADHD seem to be exactly the same as on people with ADHD -- making them more energized and concentrated.

Why the hell isn't literally everyone on them already?

You provided zero arguments in your reply, who's the degenerate now?

Your body gets accoustumed to the drugs for once so that the effect is wearing off quickly.

Secondly, while it may appear like you can concentrate better, you actually don't.

There are also tons of physical side effects, including heart problems. I don't think we should give it to children

Source? I keep hearing this, but it sounds like a puritan cope.

"""One clinical study showed that 24.7% of patients developed tolerance to stimulants in the time of days to weeks; another showed 2.7% developed tolerance over 10 years"""

Doesn't sound that bad. And there are ways to work around that.

I know this is anecdotal, but Adderall made me hate food. Even people who are overweight don't really want that.

Did you have trouble eating enough not to lose weight?

ADHD is just a phenotype that is adapted to hunting.
>extremely energetic
>extremely exploratory
>constantly moving focus, constant scanning of the visual food
ADHD implicated genes have also been decreasing since agriculture has become common
It's not fixable.
For some people it may be overexpressed due to brain inflammation or metabollic "dysfunction" (it may just also be another hunter phenotype), either way, it is possible to improve it through nutrition. I believe ketogenic diets have been shown to have some efficacy and fasting for a couple of days may also temporarily improve symptoms (this would be really interesting to see).

Here's a fun game I found. Google "ADHD [x] correlation", where x = any mental or behavioral disorder you can come up with. I've already found that having ADHD is correlated with things like
>Dementia
>Schizophrenia
>Pedophilia
>Low IQ
Try it. It's fun.

Do your research on phenylalanine, 5htp, SAMe, DMAE and choline.

All you need...

Also ritalin derivatives are like 20eur gram in europe.
