Explain

What if both lift each other simultaneously?

>> No.1583342

You want an explanation? OK, Two-Dimension drawings to not necessarily need to reflect reality, thus it is possible for the representations of two really cool guys to seem to fly. Of course, if we step back from it, we remember, these are simply pixels and they are not bound by the laws of Physics, at least in so much as gravity is concerned.

Serious explanation.

When you lift someone, you are bracing your body against the ground you're standing on, using its resistance for extra power. We can feel this resistance. When you lift something as substantial as a human, you'll notice that your posture shifts to 'push' yourself towards the ground some.

The other person is not on the ground when lifted, so he cannot do the same to you.

Likewise, you cannot do this to each other simultaneously, as you'll cancel each other's lift.

>> No.1583427

Fuck, why bother with all that when you can just reach down and lift up your own feet. I've been flying like that for years and have no clue why it hasn't caught on.

>> No.1583432

Forget lifting up your own feet. I just yell "CAW!" and flap my arms, and away I go.

It's all mind over matter, bro.

personally, my style of flying involves throwing myself at the ground and missing.

I wonder if a person that had a weight belt so they were neutrally buoyant could do this under water, relying only on the resistance of the water to push against.

hard mode: No flippers.
