Hey /sci/ , I remember reading a short story in an English textbook back in high school, and I've been trying to find it on the interwebs to no avail. It was about an Alien machine in the woods in the form of a floating sphere that a character stumbles upon. There are "dead" (more like preserved) animals all around the area. It seems as if this machine has been in the same location doing so for millions of years as there are perfectly preserved dinosaurs laying around as well. Anybody know the title? Its been bugging me for days!
