solution to the frog problem: the possible combinations of the two frogs behind you are:
MM
MF
FM
FF
it cannot be FF, so we're left with
MM
MF
FM
now a mindless retard "i fucking love science" brainlet would look at this and say that the probability is 1/3, but anyone with a brain can see that either MF or FM would also be impossible. MF has a 50% chance of being a Possible combination and FM also has a 50% chance of being a possible combination, meaning that both of them have a 100% chance of being a possible combination. let's call both of them MF/FM, MM also has a 100% chance of being a possible combination, if we take into account the chance of each combination actually being possible, it is easy to see that the probability of MM is equal to the probability of MF/FM, so there is a 50% chance of a female frog being behind you

Solution to the frog problem. Chemicals in the water are turning male frogs into female ones, so it doesn't matter.

It's actually just

Mc F
Mc M

We only care about the frog that didn't croak (doesn't matter which frog croaked since we know the croak had to come from a specific frog). The frog that didn't croak is more likely to be female if females never croak. Specifically, the chance that the frog that didn't croak is female is 1/(2-x), where x is the chance of a male croaking while you were listening.
