Answer is y = -tan(x), I got it by noticing that d/dx(y/sin(x)) * sin^2(x) = y'sin(x) - ycos(x), then manipulating your original equation we get,

d/dx(y/sin(x)) = -y^2/sin(x). Set u = y/sin(x)), and set Y' = y, then we get -yu = y' so ln(u) = -Y, so Y' = e^(-Y) sin(x), so e^(Y) dY = sin(x) dx, so Y = ln(-cos(x)), so therefore y = -tan(x).

Are you fucking kidding? Almost everything interesting in CS is part of mathematics.

It isn't. While we're at it, fuck programmers who call themselves computer scientists or part of the """CS community""""

If you don't do research, your not a scientist you dumbass. Go on and call yourselves an engineer or something, I'm sure the EE-fags would be happy to learn they're no longer the most unwashed autists that call themselves engineers.

I would rather call myself an engineer than a bullshit scientist. Research is a pathetic cope for codelets who suck so much at developping they pretend to pass on the six figures salaries to do "research" lmao.

first year CS is a lot of programming but that's because you need it to do the actual CS stuff (algorithms, etc). There's a lot of math involved too

You cannot program shit if you do not know algorithms and math. CS is a meme term to make college customers feel like they are learning some arcane shit that justifies the outrageous tuition.
Programming is syntax, algo, math (when applicable), and creativity. Computational sciences my ass dumbass zoomers.

Major and minor have nothing to do with the difference between high school and uni you fucking mong.
A major is your primary area of study
A minor is a light focus in an area of study
we get credits from classes and we only have so many credits to make up a degree, and usually no one wants to stay four more than four years.
some people take classes that count for two areas of study and fit a double major in.
the real retarded part is that in the US they FORCE you to waste credit space on classes they make you take that have nothign to do with you major or STEM.

Any tips for a math major graduating within the next year and half? Worried about not finding a job.

I l o v e programming though.
