Humans still don't know how magnets work.

I know there is a troll thread about this already but I'm taking it seriously.

Is .999* really equal to one or do we just say this for mathematics sake because it doesn't make a difference?

There is .111* difference between .999* and 1 but yet .999* = 1

Since the difference is infinitely small we don't even count it, but it is there, you can't just ignore it.
