>18year old
>finish highschool with slightly above average grades
>my whole life and school career I have been told I should go to university because I ain't a practical guy
>do a gap year like a stereotypical little bitch
>start enrolling in a law degree at 19 because parents see me as a lawyer
>quit after a year because I hate it
>enroll in a chemical engineering degree
>rona happens
>first semester starts with promising grades but it gets progressively worse with every semester
>now at the end of 4th semester have with me being 22, having failed 3 exams once and 1 twice
>just fluked my electrical engineering and will have to retake it for the third time

Is this it? A life full of empty praise although I am a brainlet that gets filtered by EE, Thermodynamics and Physics and now on the brink of dropping out of my second degree.
What should I even do now? I am 22 and have nothing. I don't even know how I can turn my degree around since I keep failing them no matter how hard I learn...

hey /sci/, how do I learn how to learn? I've quite literally forgotten how to properly study and fully understand concepts. Please, I need your help. Are methods such as mind maps the real deal or is it a meme? All I can recall that works is pure repetition.
