On the thyroid page it includes thyrotoxicosis and mentions the other one as a thing it's confused with, and lists at page 203 thyrotoxicosis as a cause of nail detachment from the bed, but on the page for that (nails: 76) lists hyperthyroidism as a cause. So does Cleveland clinic
And on 62 or 72 (palamar erythema) puts chronic renal failure as a cause by it having less inactivation of vasoactive endotoxins by the liver, and this is right after it mentions hyperthyroidism in the list. But the vasoactive endochrines are stored in the posterior pituary gland, made in the hippocampus as it says in the page close.to 203 and now I'm doubting everything!


With the vasopressin being ADH/AVP,
And the (hyper)thyroidism being a different gene, different (anterior) pituary gland and the overproduction of TSH surely
