What should I read if I want to learn about corruption? I'm thinking books about the banana wars.

I was actually working on a reading list for myself last week. The big names in the field seem to be Rose-Ackerman, Kaufmann, and Johnston. I usually don't recommend things i haven't personally read, but i figure this might be useful anyway. Just approach it knowing i haven't read or curated it in any meaningful way, but cobbled it together from other reading lists and papers i skimmed. Of those i have read, i would personally recommend 'Corruption and Government' by Rose-Ackerman. 'Corruption: A Review' is an obvious starting point as it is a review of the existing literature.
>'Corruption: A Review' - Jain
>Syndromes of Corruption - Johnston
>Corruption and Government - Rose-Ackerman
>'Corruption: the Facts' - Kaufmann
>'The Political Consequences of Corruption: A Reassessment' - Johnston
>'Corruptionand Political Development: A Cost-Benefit Analysis' - Nye
>'Corruption and Growth' - Mauro
>'Political Foundations of the Resource Curse' - Robinson
>'Corruption, Norms, and Legal Enforcement' - Fishman and Miguel
>'Corruption' - Shleifer & Vishny
>'The Impact of Corruption on Regime Legitimacy' - Seligson
It's tentative and i aimed to be domain-neutral (in that i chose more general than country specific papers+books for a starting point), and obviously incomplete. It may also be more academic (i.e being a reading list for the field of corruption studies than necessarily a list for corruption itself (these i don't think are quite self-identical)) than what you actually want. But the book by Rose-Ackerman i recommended at the start i think strikes a nice balance between theorising and example, and is very enjoyable.
