No, it's about /fit/. If you're /fit/, then even cheap chineseium garbage will look good on you. But if you're un/fit/ fatfuck, then even the most expensive brands will look like shit on you. /fa/ is downstream from /fit/. The reason that guy looks good in that goofy sweater is because he is fit and has a decent face. A fatfuck in that would look like a beached arctic seal.

Fashion can be very forgiving to a bad figure if you understand sightlines.
A good fit around the shoulders in particular can work miracles on a man's look and often an order of magnitude more than you'll get out of a year at the gym.

Still, it isn't magic and having a good body makes things way easier and the peak potential of your /fa/ way higher
