Its not to late to become a bitcoin owner, but its too late to buy bitcoin itself, you need to use other methods of accumulating enough $ to buy the bitcoin, but a normal disposable income is not enough to make it from bitcoin anymore, nope.

You either need to

1) Get into altcoins and really find a good gem after gem, and double $10k to 20k, then to 40k, then to 80k, then to 160k etc and use those profits to buy Bitcoin

2) Find some really way to massively increase your income (online business?) and use those profits to buy Bitcoin

But yeah.. putting $10k or $20k of disposable into bitcoin every year from now isn't going to have you make it sorry.
