hello jerome thank you for taking our questions i would just like to ask you what is a good stock thank you

when i look at the trade tape of a particular option i see different colors of text depending on whether the market taker was a buyer (green) or seller (red). is it true that market makers are actually market "takers" in the sense that they wait for the orders to come in and then decide which ones to "take". so yes they are "making" my market by "taking" my order, and technically im the "maker" of the transaction because im the one who decided what i wanted to buy/short. is this correct?
