this begs for: cause they are dumb.
But its much more complicated than that.
If you take a woman that has the same passion as a man in a scientific field she can do equally good.
But a womans brain is programmed to prioritize family making.
Men have much more testosterone than women obviously, and the more you have the more competitive you are, which makes males to sacrifice huge amount of times to improve themselves even if it means not socializing but a woman is more social-wise programmed than male.
So you get the general picture why women dont do lots of science etc.

I know one female physics TA. She's pretty bright and not too bad looking either.
