All the fudding everywhere actually made me reconsider it. As far as I can tell there are three possibilities for LK99.

1. It was a double scam. The korean scientists didn't know what they had and were bullshitting superconductivity for more funding and the excolleague who was out of the loop was pissed at them so he exposed their "discovery" via publishing. Though, this scenario is unlikely because why would the angry colleague attach his own name to it if it was fake or if he wasn't sure it was legit?

2. LK99 is some weird new material with very unique properties that the original team has mistaken for being a superconductor. Ex colleague didn't want to miss out on credit.

3. It's real, and the Koreans are keeping the actually useful recipes a secret because they aren't retarded. They have zero incentive to reveal the recipe until they sort out their deals. Especially if it's even somewhat simple to manufacture as they have let on then. Anyone in a country that doesn't care about international intellectual rights would jump at this to make billions before the Koreans get a head start at their own RTSC industry. In case you didn't already know, filing a patent doesn't really protect your idea from being stolen in the real world. Especially a game changer discovery like this where every government will be using cheaply made RTSCs to improve their country's infrastructure and defense. No doubt companies and governments are still experimenting with LK99 processes trying to crack the secret Korean one. Hence the overly in your face FUD campaign trying to convince everyone that the story is over.

they measured the noisefloor of the voltmeter. whatever it is it should be superconductive. and there's that whole DFT sim where they found something common to superconductors. there's more stuff pointing to it being a new type of superconductor with the 1D thing. which would make it harded to properly measure, or even figure out. just imagine some retarded pseud kicking away RTSC because he was too fucking dumb to figure it out lol. imagine failing that way, fuck

Does that magnetic effect remain after the other magnet has been removed? Wouldn't the current within a superconductor induced by the external magnetic field also produce a magnetic field? Since the material has an assymetrical crystalline structure it wouldn't circulate as thought in an entirely superconducting material, but would still oppose the external magnetic field in a specific direction.

>> No.15699914

>>15699908
not that anon but what I got out of it was that the 1d channels are randomly connected in the rock, and they form some loops, but not enough for full effect.
the whole 1d thingie can be one of those small fineprints which change a fuckload, as far as dealing with the material goes.

It's basically #3. The apatite does contain superconducting material in the matrix. The Koreans actually think the reports are good because it removes competitors.

https://v.daum.net/v/20230820105700783

The review report of the journal paper will arrive soon, and we are preparing rebuttals.

Regarding question 1, the Nature article is a compilation of the experiences of researchers who have not seen superconductivity. Do not listen. Our paper demonstrates superconductivity.

Same for question 2. They haven't seen the sign of superconductivity yet, so they should try harder.

Researchers are in too much of a hurry. Just wait a little bit.

For example, it took me about 2 years to verify my MIT (Metal Insulator Transition) research. And during my PhD program, we tried to make crystals according to the recipe published in the journal paper, and it took two of us a year and a half to succeed even though we made samples every day. You'll have to wait some more. It has not been even a month yet.

There is a room temperature superconducting phase in LK-99. Now things are too heated, we need to cool down a bit. So these reports are rather good for us.

Thank you.

Most of you are just grossly misinformed.

LK99 is actually moving pretty fast. But it's slower than tiktok or next day results. Those in the know are working and waiting for results right now. There is no doubt that there is stuff to LK99 to investigate quite intensely. But, well, you don't want to get people's hopes up- there's no advantage in trying to jump ahead of the process. Anything that you say early, you know, it can be confusing, mistrusted, etc.

Right now we only even have theories on what we're seeing. I have to emphasize this. The whole 1D channels is just a theory, it's not like we've been able to directly SEE that, doing so takes a lot more effort. That effort is happening right now. It is not yet time to be dismissive.

Education is fucked too, whether it be lazy teachers pumping out lesson plans to students cheating. Unless the school is well off and can afford to pay for all the programmes to catch this shit out, which isn't many schools, then the whole AI stuff has become deeply embedded.
