What if the Dinosaurs were big because the earth was spinning faster?

duh earf was spinning faster in the time of the dinosores. Its the moon's gravitational tidal forces have slowed down the earth roations.

In that "what if" it'd have to be established some correlation between organism size and experienced gravity offset by the centrifugal force. Ignoring any calculations for the moment this would also result in a strong correlation along latitudinal lines for dinosaur size, which we don't see. Since the centrifugal force experienced by the organism would vary greatly by its placement relative to the equator, since the force depends on distance from axis of rotation.

In effect, the hypothesis can be easily falsified by the fact we do not see such size-latitude correlates in the size of organisms. This is also not the case if the continents are reorganized to form pangea, as some of the largest (among the well known dinosaurs) still have finds across extremes of north-south of Pangea. https://www.researchgate.net/figure/Six-reconstructed-paths-from-the-dinosaurian-root-node-black-circle-to-the-fossilized_fig1_322947582

Granted one could go down an endless rabbit hole of side-effects in terms of physics like tidal forces and whatnot but I'm not that interested.

animals were bigger because there was more oxygen in the atmosphere

Even if so 0.034 m/s2 * 1/(1.125^2) = ~0.02686
Dinosaurs vere 0.027 times more massive than they would be now, meaning ~0.009 taller, less than 1%.

More CO2, allowing prey animals to grow larger.

I messed it up so fucking much I forgot that earths g isn't 1 lol. It's about 0.1%

Yeaaah that's why I started looking at the calculations fro what I was doing above and, even though it isn't really too complex, I just did not want to bother sanity checking my rusty physics for a shitpost question.

Look at it this way though: You tried. You are infinitely better than every poltard on this board. Let nobody bother you for trying.

I slept on physics lessons.
I calculated it with more real numbers by standard formulas and velocity ended up being ~0.069 which is 0.035 m/s2 more than today. ~9.78 as the mesozoic g.
