IQ really only determines 2 things.
a) how much you need to learn vs. how much you can intuit when learning
b) how fast you can solve problems.

If you have LOW IQ, that could be an issue, because you can't grasp high level concepts fast enough to pass and graduate with a degree.
having an average IQ, you can do anything a person with a higher IQ can do....just more than likely, slower, and in more tries.

Scored 129 back in Elementary school when they were basically looking for smart kids to stack up in a new gifted program. I didn't get in, but only like 3 kids did out of 10 potential candidates who scored above 120.

Since then I've dropped out of high school and I now work as a line cook at a well known restaurant chain. Applying to the Canadian Armed forces in as Infantry.

Various online iq tests have put me around 130 -- but I'm smart enough to a) realize that this is merely a ploy so I can get other people to go to their sight so they can generate ad revenue (no one's going to tell you to go to a site that said you're an idiot) and b) realize that online IQ tests are as relevant to my intelligence as the hair that is just a little too close to the centre of my nipple is relevant to quantum mechanics.

If I were to guess, I'd say I am 66% confident that my IQ is 100 +/-15. But, you know, I just pulled those numbers out of my ass.

I was tested twice when I was in school. Both times it was slightly above 100. I think the last one was 103. Dont feel smart nor dumb. Knowledge is quantifiable... the more you learn the more you know. Ive known guys with IQ over 120 who (while quick in learning) really werent any smarter than most other folks.

Anyway, if you guys really want to stroke your e-penis then why not just post your GPAs. I mean, IQ tests only show your potential, not whether youre using it.

I didnt use my intelligence at school. Mostly didnt do work in class, wasnt interested. But now I've realized school and college is actually an important part of life because they determine what kind of job you get. So I'm at uni now. I feel kinda bad that the workload is so high and I cant do it all quickly.

The only reason it's even a 3.94 is because I fell behind in Geometry and English near to the end of my Sophomore year due to playing the Scarecrow for the Wizard of Oz (which was the full Broadway production, not that pussy ass Jr. shit).

Your IQ isn't necessarily important, but I definitely believe intelligence definitely is. Its just that IQ tests aren't really good unless you keep taking different ones constantly. Because if the tests don't change all it takes is for me to look up the answers and remember the patterns the tests asks you to figure out and I can easily get a high score.

Also I really don't care what number I am, even though its supposedly in a range of 130-145 depending on the test I take. I just think tests don't check for a lot of things that incorporate intelligence.

I think they should look for four major areas:
-Common Sense (because who is smart without it?)
-Basic Intelligence (like the regular tests now)
-Wisdom (comes with age and then declines)
-Book Smarts (knowing a lot helps you adapt what you know)

TL;DR Actual intelligence is more important than a stupid number, and IQ tests are bullshit
