About a year ago, or maybe a little longer than that, my dog bit a child. I was not there my father was walking it and only told me about it after. basically the dog was on its leash as it always is when it is walked but some young child can out of no where on his bike and startled the dog.

Any way like a week ago I was walking my dog and this lady started asking me the dogs name and where i lived, i just told her not thinking anything of it but then she started yelling at me about how I need to have a muzzle on the dog because it bit her son and she had to take him to the emergency room after.

But now i dont want to have to deal with walking her any more because its just annoying to have people yell at me for stupid things like this, which I had nothing to do with. I also have people yell at me for letting my dog on their lawn (which tecnically is not even theirs it is the city's property). Even if my dog is not peeing on their property, I've been told that I am trying to get my dog to pee on their property since I dont drag the dog along fast enough.

I told my parents that we should have her put to sleep or give her away but instead they just bought a muzzle, and Its not worth argueing with them furthur because I know they wont change their mind. So I am going to poison the dog and make it look like it died of natural causes. I figure since it is a dog, their won't be much investigation into how it died at the vet, and even if they find poison they will just think it ate the poison off the street. What is a good inexpensive poison for a aproximately 100 lb dog?

The idea being non-traumatic asphyxia is an invisible cause of death at autopsy, so long as the dog asphyxiates on its own breath or a simple asphyxiant such as nitrogen, helium, argon, etc.

The only way to detect asphyxia at autopsy is a full blood toxicology workup screening for suspected asphyxia, which is unlikely and expensive.

If you use nitrogen or the dog's own breath, I'm even a bit dubious they'll pick up the CoD as asphyxia most times, and not a seizure, arrhythmia, etc

Chocolate for dogs, Tylenol for cats, Antifreeze for raccoons, any of them are going to be at the top of the list, and their metabolite will be screened for. The idea here is that if the dog does go to autopsy for some odd reason, it still comes out as natural CoD

one of my neighbors has like black labs and their fence is about 3 feet tall and useless for containing them; they used to jump it and come after me when I got the mail sometimes. but their owner looks like white trash and I didn't really want to deal with him so one day I drank 3 or 4 beers, put on like 4 sweatshirts, pumped myself up and went out there. one dog the fence, I put out my padded arm and let it bite me. didn't really hurt all that bad but I could tell it was leaving some pretty serious gouges.

hit the dog with bear spray, grabbed my mail, went back inside, took digital pics of my arm and emailed all the relevant into to animal control.

they came and took away the dog and dude was digging a trench for a shock collar fence the next day. now they don't bother me anymore. the end.

keep your dogs under control at all times.

ld50 is much lower for intravenous doses than oral so it hardly takes any, 5mg kills pretty much anyone. that 5mg would spread throughout the body fluids and attenuate significantly over the 2-5 days it takes to be lethal. It would just be so incredibly dilute, and it is a protein so there isn't really even a specific signature they can look for.
