I would not call Synesthesia a disease.

I've actually got it, mine's quite faint though.

Benign macrocephaly?

Again not a disease per se, but a condition.

Mostly numbers seem to have a color, for example four is yellow and eight is black. Sound also has a bit of a texture.

also a few words have a picture associated with them that has absolutely nothing to do with the word, in some cases the picture is whatever I was looking at the instant I first heard the word.

FAS is associated with microcephaly. Smooth one.

You... just sort of do.

If you look at numbers printed in gray, and somehow the color seems "wrong", you've got it. It can manifest in a bunch of ways though.

I'm the exact same guy that was trolling you a couple days ago about FAS.

I'm not actually OP btw, the namefaggery stuck from that earlier thread about the future social structure of humanity.

i see my number line in a certain way, and my mental conception of the calendar works in such a way that i can only see certain parts from different angles and is arranged in a sort of 3-dimensional shape, looks sort of like 5_

what does this mean?

I experienced that a lot as a child. I would associate certain sounds with textures or tastes and especially numbers and letters with colors. I thought everybody experienced stuff like that as vividly as I did. I was heavily medicated when i was child though and after a few different medications I barely experience this at all anymore. I wonder if its just from changing as I grew older or if the meds had anything to do with it.

Yeah, it would help if you didn't mix up your _cephalies though, they are separated by four standard deviations of head size.

>>1691294
Probably not meds. It used to be more vivid when I was younger also, but it's been "stable" since I was around seven.

ive heard someone claim once or twice that is a "number-form synaesthesia", but idk about that. i also have strong mental connections between words and things, like hearing the word jealousy always brings to mind an image of a cluster of green grapes, but i dont think thats the same thing

Oh god, I can barely remember what it is, but there's some thing where people have some kind of strange visual number-mapping or something in their minds, sounds like what you're talking about. I can't fucking remember what it is, it's been so long.
