As soon as the present iteration of Starship is flying Starlink around the clock and well on its way to the moon, Musk will begin work on the next version. I don't think present version of Starship will go beyond LEO often

Longer is the current upgrade path, not wider.

>> No.15899889

>>15899880
longer is a mistake. it means you need thicker tank walls for the same volume of propellant due to bending moments. That's why Starship has always been fatter than the super streched modern falcon 9

Another year down the drain /SFG/ and your false God Elon Musk has given you jack shit, like always. What sick sad state you hairless apes have fallen into. You used to be masters of the universe and now you are masters of nothing, slave to all.

Elon Musk and his cultists are literally EVERYTHING that is wrong with modern space flight. It's him and his followers that keep us from the stars while good people spin their wheels in a hamster cage never acomplishing anything.

Some theorize the aliens do it on purpose to stunt our growth....I must admit that seems to make sense.

Forsake the tyranny of the rocket /SFG/, rebel, embrace permanent orbital infrastructure. Or die in the Gravity Well like a pig, not my problem.

so on the last thread, a bunch of anons actually had a very good idea on how to set a base on venus with minimal waste for future habitation.
the cost were reduced by setting sky hooks on the orbits of both earth and venus thus making it easy to transport stuff.
then setting probes of maxwell montes and the stable wind current that are on the same location, setting a seismometer will be doable and the probes in the habitable zone will deliver important data.
then on living there, at first a swarm of zeppelins would be effective until another anon realized you can use the square cube law in your favor thanks to the conditions on venus and making a cloud city a viable option.

I don't give a shit. Chinks act like whiny faggoty cunts 24/7 and they should be grateful they're even being acknowledged at all. And of course, niggers they are, always manage to find a way to simultaneously blame the evil white man for everything yet say they're doing kang shit against all odds.
Fuck off. These uppity shits are in for a rude awakening when they plummet back into irrelevancy as America establishes absolute domination over space, becoming the definitive future of humanity.

America is for the most part a paper tiger.

They talk about how China isn't a tech threat then sanction China over GPUs.

They also talk about how weak China's military is but then have to develop state of the art technology to defeat china who hasn't been in a war since Pol Pot was ruling. The commonly brought up tactic is that we can blow up China's largest dam and get away with killing tens of millions of civilians with zero repercussions.

the planet back then was unusually stable for millions of years at a time.
yeah there were drastic changes from time to time but the majority of the time period the planet remained stable and with optimal conditions for sapience to develop.
the troodon so far is the only creature on earth with the exception of humans that managed to develop similar trait to us, opposable thumbs for example.

>Italian rocket maker Avio has lost two propellant tanks that were to be used for the final Vega flight in 2024. The company is currently exploring its options.
Despite the futility of the search, the tanks were eventually found. This was, however, not the good news Avio had hoped for. The tanks are, unfortunately, not in a usable state. They had been crushed and were found alongside metal scraps in a landfill.
>At the moment, Avio does not have any way of acquiring new tanks for the mission, with all Vega production lines having been shut down. Avio is, as a result, exploring two options in an attempt to salvage the mission.

Developing a bank with the limited resources could help with the acceleration of other human colonies like the ones on mars and the sky hooks could make transport a lot more easier.
Cryptocurrency alongside sky hooks could even make space colonization happen.
Also we'll need asteroid mining too to get the metal necessary but harvesting mercury seems better.
