Are square roots even real or are we just imagining them? If they are real, why does calculating them have such massive computational overhead cost? rendering an image of an imaginary object also has massive computational overhead cost, while photographing something real does not, does this analogy suggest that all square roots are imaginary?
if not, what can be done to mitigate the massive computing power required to take square roots in bulk? if square roots are imaginary then why are some many people concerned with them?
