Current issues in the Space Industry:

Anons report the industry moves "at a snail's pace". Many rocket engines and rocket companies are currently in operation but all basically working on the same thing while accomplishing little. While small innovations are made in this area it's slow and very expensive. Inefficient old technology.

Anons complain of slow launch tempo, proposed 1 mission to moon per year, no more....maybe less. This is a very very slow launch tempo and will in the long run accomplish nothing short of a few photo op missions. Humans will never become "space faring" under this model.

Large bottlenecks exist in the innovation, funding, philosophy, and corporate management of the current Space Industry. This has resulted in extreme stagnation in the field to the point we are just "shuffling the chairs on the Titanic". Projects are constantly pushed back and meet with failures. This speed and level of progress will see the first human colony ship leave Earth circa 2140 not 2040.

The Space Flight industry suffers from delusion and corruption from the top down. A very small number of people with a very small number of ideas are propped up by "crony capitalism" and massive propaganda machines to reach their own personal egotistical goals. Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos are currently in a dick measuring contest to get to the moon and they get to do it with tax payer money. Worse than wasting money they waste valuable time we can never get back. We should be building space stations in Earth Orbit not wasting time on the Moon and Mars.
