Why couldn't Venus's atmosphere be superrefractive like we were promised bros?
>The Venerian atmosphere is so thick that light is refracted through 90° and more. The whole planet is visible from any point on the surface. The explorer will seem to stand in the bottom of an enormous bowl, with cliffs towering high above him.
