I don’t think anyone knows for sure but it’s always been my stance that she is one of the main reasons SpaceX get so, so, so much business. She probably has direct say in hiring all these old NASA/DoD boomers that SX have acquired (who are there to get contracts, not slow down the company the way BO is run), she probably had a main-say in skipping F1 and going straight to F9, booster reuse, and ultimately upgrading Falcon XX to BFR. And she’s obviously involved with spook deals that help the money flow—as she has openly talked about these a lot before. I think Elon is good at getting rich ass investors and learning as much from his engineers as he can do he can make final design choices; but shotwell is mommy money printer as well.
I wonder how much Insprucker does for the company besides just narrating kino launches. I have no info about him other than what he used to do in the government
