Came here from /k/ and I've followed threads talking about FARK and ATS posts before but all the science talk is beyond me.
IIRC phase condensate/scalar wave stuff allows for:
>gamma ray lasers/DEWs that can strike anywhere on Earth; see the 2004 Nork incident and the dugway sightings
>laser sights can target things that they don't have line of sight on
>ASW systems that could detect submarines anywhere in the ocean
>extra strong encryption on laser communications
>FTL drives and a colony on planet dirt
