Unironically what are my options? My background:
>2009-2016: Bsc. + Msc. in math from b-tier (in my country) university
>2013 I had an extended internship at a big engineering company for 9 months in software development. Also had a 10 month part time internship in software development during 2010-2011.
>2016-2018: software development at startup company. Received a patent. Had to leave because of abusive management.
>2018-2021: PhD in math at d-tier university. 6 published papers.
>2021-2024: teaching at a-tier university. Temporary contracts. Some independent research but only managed to publish one paper during this time. (Big yikes)
>2024-present: paid training for teaching high school
My parents want me to go back for some kind of engineering degree. Options? Suggestions?

I'm a maths grad from a mid-tier Scottish university and am currently doing a master's in quantitative finance. I know some Python but I have no internships or work experience. How fucked am I?
