Reminder that SpaceX has been having to fly Boeing's missions for years now. The real question is if Boeing will complete the rest of their contract, but I'm sure they aren't going to extend it.

So why do they need another parachute drop test _now_? I seem to recall that they had less than stellar performance in parachute tests, but if it weren't for non-parachute stuff, they would already have had a crew flight by now.

To be fair, some of the delay has been due to no fucking available docking ports on ISS because Boing took so long with its fuck-ups.
