I am formulating a scientific theory around the observation that Canadian presidents are inherently poofy and lumpy in their face and body, as compared to, say, American politicians. A purely genetic cause is unlikely, given that the three examples above come from three different regions, namely: the east, the middle, and the west. Therefore it stands to reason that leaf politician poofiness is caused by some purely environmental factor which spans the land from east to west—and which, furthermore, does not cross the border and affect the faces of burger politicians to a detectable extent. Some hypothetical causes could be:
>physical reasons with being further north (day-night cycle, winter humidity, cold, snow, magnetism)
>environmental reasons such as the water supply, food additives, radio frequencies
>cultural reasons such as diet, or work-stress
I haven’t got much farther than this, but I’m curious how /sci/ would explain this strange phenomenon.

*other examples: christia freeland, doug ford, rob ford, most former presidents since the 60s other than Jean Chretien
