I wonder what sigma the starting velocity of your vomit would correlate with in the general populace...

It's the WAIS chart, never mind the site. It's floating around a bunch of places.

Well college graduates are a fully sigma above the normal populace, that has to come from somewhere.

BTW the new ACT 36 is roughly the 99.96th centile according to ACT's data, but we still run into the fact that an average score on the ACT probably still correlates with a somewhat above average IQ due to self selection bias.

The old WAIS chart places an ACT of 21 (average) at an IQ of 108.

This is true, did you not read >The ACT already self selects to a certain degree, so these figures don't represent the entire population, only college-bound students.

Maybe this chart will give you a better indication, but its old as shit, back before all the tests were recenterd: http://www.megafoundation.org/Ultranet/scores.htm

Only Yale now, IIRC. Other than Yale the "top schools don't take the ACT" is an old wives tale.

>>1716643
An ACT score of 36 is 2.92 sigma above normal, same as an IQ of 147 on an SD16 test.

www.act.org/news/data/09/pdf/National2009.pdf

The ACT already self selects to a certain degree, so these figures don't represent the entire population, only college-bound students.

I scored 36 twice in practice for it.

And I have DSPS, 8am tests are not my thing.

>> No.1716597 [View]

>>1716592
No, it doesn't. IIRC both tests have a few hundred aces out of around a million and a half takes.

Both tests publish exact score figures on their sites if you care to verify...

SAT math is a real bitch. I missed four questions out of over 50 and only got 700 >.<

Critical reading has a much nicer curve on both tests, you can miss a few and still score only a point/ten points down.

Fuck, I only got 33 >.<

But we're only about a half dozen questions apart out of over 200, the curve is very steep at the top.

CLEP is generally useless at most top universities.

What you want is credit by exam, you'll have to talk to the head of each department about it, your adviser can point you in the right direction.

As far as the two physics subjects, if your talking about next year, sign up for both AP Physics C tests in may with collegeboard.

Because the final exam is administered by collegeboard, you can take AP tests even if you didn't take the course and/or are no longer a high school student.

I know, I've done it.

And I'm thinking of taking more the end of this academic year to get rid of gened courses. Just remember you'll have to contact collegeboard sometime around February to sign up.
