For me The Castle was like a pseudo continuation of the Trial. MC named also K. goes to a process simmilar to the one in The Trial, but he takes shit from noone. well, it is a story about love but also hate. It doesn't exactly glorify love, instead detailing how it can be horrible for anyone in proximity and leave generational scars. It's like an addiction, and it's not really anything special. It's practically inevitable, you just have to show up.
