Trying to sketch out a diagram so i can replicate this power wheels setup and for quick troubleshooting. Typically have 5-10 minutes maximum to repair. I don't want to be fighting a snake nest of wires and need quick access. It's pretty aggressive but overpowering 12v 775 motors with 24v 12ah AGM batteries.

I've installed 40 amp breakers for each motor to hopefully save the wiring from burning up and protect the motors. I found a random relay to use the factory gas pedal and have cut it down to a 2 wire on/off switch.

Figured i would work on this and maybe anons can check in from time to time and save my nephew from a fiery car crash.

Do i wire the relay in before or after the breakers?

Bow to your king autists! Kek. Figured yall wanted a laugh and I'm to lazy to go label my schematic on the plywood.

Is this correct then? My only error i just ran with for simplicity sake, going to run 2 ground wires from the battery to the distribution block. And then from there to the motors instead of directly. Faster and easier to probe at shit and find a burned wire or a short. Using breakers instead of fuses

I dunno, If I was your nephew i would really appreciate at least a VFD and 2 HP minimum

breakers should be wired at the mains before the relay

if you properly sized the wire and overcurrent protection you wouldn't have to worry about burning up the wires now ya stupid cunt

you only needed one breaker connected to the battery + sized for the wire cross section area and current capacity.
from the breaker one wire to relay 30 and one wire to the switch then relay 85.

2hp electric is fucking 1,500 watts. Kek. I fucked i fucked up 2 scooter controllers trying to install reverse.

Fuck it. I got it done and tucked the wiring so the plastics will cover it all after some epoxy dries on the cheap shit wire that won't solder to the motor terminals. About 6pm central I'll have my nephew cutting donuts. Will try and post a gif if anyone cares

Well i took the 50/50 chance and put the breakers in after. 10 guages wa the best i could do. Doubled up going to the relay and split at the motors. Been fine so far. I got quick access to everything that would predictably fail so 20 extra breakers, 3 extra relays, and i can repair it in under 5 minutes unless something strange like a steering knuckle breaks in half. Should be good to roll now

Thanks anon. Was short on time and only had 40 amp breakers. Was worried theyed trip so i doubled them up

Got er done. Only problem i see is the mutherfucking stiff ass chinese trash wires coming off the motors. Soldered them on and put Gorrilla epoxy on the connections 5 hours ago and another one just now.

Test run in T minus 4.5 hours if it isn't raining.

Bought a sand blaster. Need to get glass beads so i can blast and paint the ugly bastard as soon as the next 8 days of rain stop

If anyone cares they had the lights set to to trip but he smoked everyone. And when they had him rerun his return trip was a knarly ass foot deep mud bog. He smoked both motors before his second try but everyone laughed their ass off at it. Then he hopped in the other car with stock 550s and 24v relay. Took first out of 8 or 10 kids.

Going to work on 4x4 and a pulling tractor with reverse as well as a streatch dune racer with rubber tires for myself to tool around on
