Moving at the end of the month and I have an old radial arm saw that I haven’t used in the last decade. Any reason not to get rid of this thing? Seems like my sliding mitre saw can do anything it can for a fraction of the floor space.

they are great if you have to make a lot of the same cut like studs for a wall you can cut like 10 2x4s at one time

Sounds like you need a storage unit ;^)

I’ve got the space for it in the new place’s garage, but is it worth moving the beast?

Of all the jewish ways to add cost to things you don't use...

Also, is there still a market to sell these? What are people willing to pay for one these days, like 60 bucks?

Some guy youtube claimed he got one for $10 on kikejewjew.

However, he also claimed that they are inherently safer, with other advantages, so now I'm looking for one!

So, for everything I can do on my chop saw, I do that first. If that can't do it, go radial. If that can't get it done, then table saw. In that order.

Chuck it
Its a dangerous one trick pony, which is easily replaced by making a sled for your table saw.

understand your ponderance anon, if not used would sell 'cause your right on the miter saw doing same, only reason to keep is for wide stock the miter stroke won't cover..

Keep it for now unless floor space is at a premium. That thing looks like it will run forever if you take care of it.

If you really don't see yourself using it, sell it in the spring on craigslist/FB marketplace when DIY season is in full swing.
