Yeeeeet!

Sometimes you can look at the Bunnings AEG selection and see some stuff that might possibly be coming to the US market in the next year. Like they had AEG OPE such as the chainsaw and backpack sprayer over there before it was released with the Ridgid name.

Also I feel bad for them whenever I see the prices of stuff over there. They don’t seem to get nearly as good of sales either like the 2 free tools with purchase of a starter kit.

Make sure you register that bitch within 90 days of purchase if you want the lifetime coverage.

Also if M18 is too pricey for you, that means you shouldn’t buy Milwaukee. You obviously aren’t going to be using them 8hrs a week in a shop, and it would be dumb to limit yourself because you want to be a Red Fanboi like your favorite youtuber. There’s more affordable 18V/20V/24V brands that are more than enough for weekend wrenchers. Ryobi 18V is the best for DIYers, Ridgid and Kobalt are a step up and pretty affordable, and DeWalt 20v has better sales than Milwaukee and is still a higher end brand.

Best route for babby wrencher’s first power tools, get down on a 18V/20V/24V drill + impact driver starter kit because you shouldn’t be wrenching much if you don’t at least own a drill. And that 1/4” impact driver, you can stick a socket adapter in there and it does 90% of what that M12 stubby does. Then get down on a 1/2” brushless mid torque impact from that same brand, and now you’re set to do everything from small interior screws up to wheels and larger suspension bolts.

>inb4 some 17 year old says “no stupid I have the M12 stubby and it did everything I needed it to do that one time I did an oil change on my mom’s Civic!”
Wrench a little more and let me know when you had to borrow your friend’s 18V because you wasted all afternoon trying to remove some rusty bolt under the car and the 12V wouldn’t touch it.
