Love your idea OP! Been thinking about this for years! Couldn't get past the design phase because the Fallout Pip-Boy just looks too clunky, and I couldn't cope with any metal on my skin (allergy). But THIS, THIS IS NICE!
If you "were" to lean more towards the canon fallout pipboy, however, might I suggest this? http://www.nukalert.com/
It's small & compact, but looks like it might not incorporate into your design. Pic related. Never know when you WOULD need this, but then if you did, I guess you wouldn't regret owning one. Any ideas?
