I hate the arguments who use child labor as their defense. If the kids aren't mining cobalt or coal, they're digging through e-waste to get the scrap metal. If they aren't digging through e-waste, they're working the opium fields. Or they are sewing together your shoes, or shirts. Or it's the kids that climb the coconut trees to make your coconut butter.

It's not the fucking job that's the issue, it's the country that's allowing it to take place, or the parents that are so poor that they couldn't afford a condom let alone raise a kid so the kid doesn't have to work to eat. It's not the system or the companies that take up the cheap source, it's the shitty people on the other end that don't try to change it. You really think that if we halt all operations that deal with child labor, all of a sudden those kids are going to go to school and get an education? No, they will just be forced to do the next shitty job that someone can underbid and sell to a 1st world country.

It's where you go to buy that one tool you need for this one job. If you find you're using the tool a lot and it breaks or something, that's when you go somewhere else and get a more expensive version. I've bought so many one-off tools from Harbor Freight that I've only used a handful of time, but every time I used them, they worked no problem.

If you treat any tool like shit, it's going to preform like shit, which is what most people don't realize. I've bought a thread tapping set from there and people gave me so much shit. "Oh have fun digging out broken taps". I've never had a problem with the set, probably because I drill the right sized hole and properly oil the tap before each use and not be a dumbass. It's saved my ass a few times too.
