Fairly recently I got one of these little rollers for applying some Dynamat (sound-deadening butyl panels, like for car doors). It's pretty beefy.

This thing, plus some kind of pressure-sensitive adhesive, I bet it would stick for a long time. 3M makes some quite good ones, but they're balls expensive.

You could use these double-sided sheets make the sticker beforehand, but leave the one backing paper on. Then just stick & roll & escape.
