I've never found the different methods to be distinct enough to really care, so it's whatever is easiest for your purpose. Just frying up an egg for yourself? Over easy. A whole batch at once for a group? Sunny side up. Prepped for later? Hardboiled.

I like to make sort of an omlette with mine. First I scramble it, then I add BBQ sauce, salt, pepper, ground mustard seed, half a diced onion, minced garlic, 1lb ground beef, and breadcrumbs. Then I put my omlette mixture in an oven preheated to 350 for about 45 minutes. It's unconventional but it's a nice way to start the morning.

You have autism, friend.
There are only so many commonly recognized ways to prepare eggs. If not otherwise specified and a duration is given like 6 minutes then they mean softboiled, and if they use a duration more like 10 minutes they mean hardboiled. Soft and hard boiling are the not otherwise specified cooking format for eggs where the only information given is the length of time. A length of time is a description for a way of cooking, just one that has fewer explicit details then you're able to cope with apparently.

There is no answer other than softboiled that makes sense for someone saying they like eggs "cooked for 6 minutes."
If you mean scrambled you actually say scrambled because that involves extra details like you want it from a frying pan with the yolk broken and mashed in with the egg whites.
If you mean fried you say fried, not cooked.
And poached and coddled are two ways to prepare eggs that no one would ever assume from "cooked for 6 minutes."
The most nondescript match for "cooking eggs" is soft / hard boiling, especially when there's a length of time between 3 and 12 minutes given because soft / hard boiling eggs involves basically zero details aside from how long you leave them sitting there in hot water.

Autism is being unable to say soft boiled or hardboiled, just saying cooked means apply heat.
