Yeah I had them squiggling all around my Boston apartment back in the day. I remember the day I got the keys to the place, there was snow everywhere and it was cold as fuck, and although I hadn't even started moving out of my shitty sharehouse, I went straight to my new apartment and turned the heat on and just laid down on the floor and napped in such happiness that I would now be moving into a new place.

That's when I saw my fist scoot, and I was puzzled as I had never seen such a thing. Anyway, I lived there for like 2 years and totally coexisted with the scoots. I saw some HUGE ones in that time, like 4-5" long, crazy shit.

Now I live in Australia though and I think learning to tolerate scoots prepared me for this bullshit.

Have you ever found a spider in the toilet? Did you even consider the possibility before? And now that I have incepted this idea, are you going to keep a flashlight in the loo to obsessively search for toilet spiders before sitting down? Do you think a spider might enjoy laying eggs in your bum, so warm and moist?

Anon pls. I have heard all about the toilet spiders, only from Americans, and I assure you I am not the least bit concerned about toilet spiders.

I have fucking spiders everywhere, outside my grill is covered in redbacks and occasionally I get white tails in the house, but otherwise everything is harmless.

Huntsman spiders are fucking bros and whenever I see them I let them be. They are MUCH nicer to have in the house than the things they eat; centipedes, flies, cockroaches, mealworms. Huntsmen are 100% allowed to live with me.

Same with scoots btw, way better to have them than the alternative.

sea bugs have actual meat in them and not just goop. You also don't eat their digestive tracts, shells or innards. Just the meat.

Another Aussie here, can confirm. If the spider doesn't get you on the toilet, he'll just crawl up your bum while you're sleeping instead, and it's actually much easier if you're on the toilet with your cheeks spread, so just relax and let it happen. The average Australian has at least six huntsman spider nests up his kangaroo hole, it's just a part of life Down Under, we don't even think about it until the eggs hatch.

Crustaceans are not bugs. They are arthropods, which means that they're as much of an insect as bears are technically dogs.
