No reason at all you can't split the line from the RO system to direct connect to the waterline for the fridge.
That's what we did. The water line is already there, you just need to either remove the filter cartridge,(many have a bypass valve,) or get a hollow filter cartridge that are sold online.
These days, a 15 year old fridge will last you a hell of a lot longer than a 5 year old one, let alone a new one.

Yeah...holy shit. Phenylalanine breaks down into neurotoxins with time and/or heat.
It's not gonna kill you, OP, but you're gonna have a screaming headache for a few hours.
best to start pounding water now,(a little more rum wouldn't hurt as a diuretic either.)

I am that RO advocate anon as well.
did you know you can have it in-house for less than $200?
I used to do the water island stuff at the grocery for 49¢/Gallon--5 gallons at a time, but 2/week=$5, and x 52 = $260, and that isn't taking into account travel and gas, but I was going to the store anyway.
Now I'm on a nice well that really doesn't even need a filter, but that just lengthens the pre and post filters lives.
Might be a good Christmas get, or at least something to consider saving for. You can easily do it in a rental too, and take it with you when you move.

I truly don't believe there is anything more important than CLEAN water and CLEAN food.

Lifestraw is 100X better than Brita.
The ONLY thing Brita filters are is activated carbon filters with either Sand or some kind of ion-exchange resin particles.
https://youtu.be/8NgdBHzHZTo
Lifestraws are able to take brackish bacteria infested water and make it potable--you would NOT want to try that with a Brita filter; they are ONLY for use with already potable water that is deemed safe to drink. It ONLY removes bad tastes.
You could probably get similar results by setting tap water out overnight to off-gas chlorination, then spray a couple shots of Pooph™ on it.
Brita is truly just another consooomer scam to get you in with mis-representation,(They literally SAY"Protect your family",) then have you purchasing overpriced filters for the rest of your life.
Only drawback with the Lifestraw jug, is the cost over time...
Which one do you have specifically?
https://lifestraw.com/pages/compare
It seems many of them don't remove chlorine or improve taste,(Active Charcoal's main benefit)

It's bio-programming, anon...
He may be referring to tap water too.
Nothing is sweeter or more refreshing than clean filtered(RO) water when you are parched, but Opie doesn't know that since he was probably raised on sugary drinks and the tap water being shitty/chemically.
>>19725175
And there it is...I was right.
OP, just drink clean water, not tap, not bottled.
You can buy a gallon of RO for 50¢ at most any grocery store these days--
Iced tea anon was right too.
Don't drink the Diet drinks--all the recent, non-in-house studies have shown they actually make you fatter and thistier.

The ONLY thing a Brita filter is good for is turning
>PIC REALATED
Into Kettel One.
The SAFEST water you can drink is RO water from a good well. Distilled is the Cleanest, and the hype about dying from it is almost 100% bullshit. You'll get plenty of minerals from the food you eat. I say almost, because if you are water fasting, or on some kind of drug your body is now dependent on,(like Lisonopril,) you can deplete them rapidly and be at risk for hyponatremia and hypokalemia as another anon posted.
I pinch of salt, a pinch of no salt™ and a pinch of baking soda per Gallon will remedy that.
you also don't need to spend an arm and a leg on a RO system.

Throw in a 3 gallon tank for ease of use.

There was actually a fucking NEWS REPORT like 5 days ago about some woman who drank a half-Gallon of distilled water...And it KILLED HER.
I loudly mocked the television in front of my parents(I was visiting,) and said--OKAY, SO NOW drinking PURE WATER can be the cause of "DIED SUDDENLY"...
The retards actually TRIED to defend that...for a second... Then the just fucking said" we are TRYING to WATCH THE NEWS..."
I just left--so much for "VISITING FAMILY"
Fuck'Em.. they're VAXXED anyway--And I WARNED them.
This WHO release is CLEARLY CYA bullshit.
You CAN'T have missed that they threw out so much conflicting info in 2020 that they could claim they said ANYTHING.
Hard to prosecute that.

I understand, Anon. but you can put together a R.O. system for yourself for less than $200
Well water would be best,(none of the pharma residuals or other toxins that don't get taken out from tap,) but you work with what you have.
FFS, even rainwater in Amerilardland isn't safe anymore.

Because that really only makes it worse. The problem is that your stomach hasn't gotten the signal to stop producing acid, adding a base like baking soda or ant-acid just kicks your stomach into turbo production.
Baking soda is great for other things, and is quicker initially than the vinegar, but in my experience, the vinegar only takes 10-15 minutes to work, and lasts for way longer.
That said, I usually keep a 2 liter of Club soda close to my bed just in case I get some reflux, since I'm gonna be laying down and going back to sleep after a big burp, but you would do just as well to do that, then 15 minutes later take a shot of ACV.
hope that helps.

Yeah--This is a Not-So-Veiled drink shill...
Fuck you, I won't eat the fucking bugs either.
Enjoy nobody buying your Overpriced Kudzu juice, mr. "URBAN HUNTER GATHERER"
I'd rather buy a $85 cornelius keg and a $45 refillable CO2 tank and make my own sparkling water.

That should read "STILL" or "sparkling...
That said...BOTH are better than Amerisyrup.
